Personal guide to meet you at OR Tambo/Johannesburg International Airport and drive you to your 5 star Hotel in Sandton where you have reserved accommodation for the next three days. Sandton City is one of the largest shopping malls in South Africa so take time out to enjoy the shopping experience. At leisure, do lunch and dinner either at your hotel or at one of the many gourmet restaurants in Sandton City.

Pre-dawn departure with your guide for a sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Magaliesburg bushveld only 40km from Johannesburg with a memorable champagne breakfast after landing.
Day 2: am/pm
Soweto township cultural tour. A view into the lifestyle of the new South Africa caught between old squatter misery and new prosperity. Sewn into this vibrant township is the history of black migrant labours struggle to survive from the times of the gold rush in 1885. A time to taste true African cuisine and meet the fun people of Soweto. Return to your hotel late afternoon and the rest of the evening at leisure. Choose one of many restaurants in Sandton Square offering a variety of cuisine for dinner
Day 3: am/pm
As you are staying in Gauteng/Johannesburg which was built on the profits of gold, it is fitting to spend the day at Gold Reef City theme park, where one can relive the past in the old gold mining town, go down a mine shaft, see how gold is mined, smelted and poured. Return to your hotel late afternoon and the rest of the evening at leisure.
